Environmental Statement

Woodstock Leabank recognises that our business activity has an impact on the environment. We are committed to minimising this impact and strive to meet and exceed the requirements of all current legislation and codes of conduct.

The management encourages all employees to be as environmentally minded as possible and invite ideas and suggestions from employees on environmental matters.

We are accredited with BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Approved Quality Management Systems and BS EN ISO 14001:2004 Approved Environmental Management Systems, which are kept under constant review.

It is our policy that all packaging waste is collected from site and recycled where possible.

Our delivery vehicles are all compliant with Euro iii and Euro IV Emissions standards, and with the latest tracking technology, we endeavour to reduce fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.

We continually remind staff via memo's, newsletters, and meetings to be aware of the need to reduce energy consumption, waste and fuel use as well as minimising waste.

Our suppliers are vetted for their own environmental policies and we endeavour to ensure that all timber products are F.S.C (Forestry Stewardship Council) certified

We will continue to communicate all new legislation to our employees and implement the requirements of such legislation and recommendations.

Removal & Recycle Scheme
Formed in 2009, our specialist furniture and electrical equipment removal service has supported many companies to strengthen their environmental credentials and corporate identity through our recycling scheme.

Operating under current UK legislation and inline with ISO accreditations 9001,14001 and 27001, we are happy to remove old furniture and any amount of electrical equipment. Please call our Operations team on 0161 494 5868 to discuss your requirement further.
