Environmental Policy

Here at Woodstock Leabank we recognise that our operations have an effect on the environment. Additionally, we strive to comply with all current and new legislation, laws and codes of conduct.

As a consequence of this all employees are driven by the management and are committed to continuously improving where we can and is as far as reasonably practical in regard to environmental performance and pollution prevention.

It is the responsibility and duty of all employees at Woodstock Leabank to be environmentally minded as possible.

Woodstocks main focus continues to be the correct disposal of waste. By providing separate bins for different paper based materials and waste.

It is our policy for all Drivers & Distribution Operatives to return all packaging from delivered products and correctly dispose of such items.

The same responsibility is also issued to all office, warehouse and cleaning employees who follow the same conduct as above and separate their waste correctly.

We implement all new and current legislation and policies through guidelines set out for new employees during their induction & throughout their training.

As new legislation is introduced into the industry we will endeavour to implement all actions possible as far as is reasonably practical.

Through coordinating route planning and our delivery schedules Woodstock Leabank seeks to realise the duel benefit of reduced fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions.

Woodstock Leabank continues to communicate all new legislation and implement action to all employees through a series of memos, newsletters, notices and meetings.

Woodstock Leabank aims to achieve ISO 14001 and Forestry Stewardship Council, chain of custody certification in 2007.
